Release year: 2010

C4M delivers the Digiscan app to digitick. Digiscan aims at making it easier for digitick to set-up all its partner venues with modern e-ticket checking capacity.

Having developed the digitick app, C4M followed issues linked to entry scanning. The company proposed to its partner the digiscan app to equip up to mid-size venues with top-notch ticket checking capacity where a dedicated scanner is not justified.

Digiscan shares with the digitick platform the real time list of e-tickets whose validity it confirms to the organisers using the app at the entrance. The app identifies e-tickets with barcode scan, name search or number search. The scan itself works just as well with paper and digital screens, and provides supplementary lighting to let staff scan in the dark.

Once identified, the organizer has access to the ticket history and the number of checked entries. When queues start expend, the organizer adds staff equiped with the app multiply check-points: apps in activity are instantly notified of the arrival of new scanning devices with which it shares in real-time the list of stamped tickets, thus removing risks of fraud.

When no network is available, the Digiscan app runs in offline mode, working with the latest list of valid tickets. Once connected again, it syncs with the digitick platform all changes that took place while offline.

Following the success of the iPhone version, Blackberry and Android versions are in the works.
