Update: Now RATP is available for Ovi (Nokia). It includes all the Android version features. Following Nokia's recommendation, C4M based the app on the WRT environment, and though javascript and low CPU devices imposed limitations, with careful tweaking, it all went ok!

RATP Android gives you all the info you need to use public transports in Paris : maps, directions, time tables, alerts.

For C4M the goal was to deliver an app as responsive as it iPhone version. A challenge given the app's complexe interface and numerous server exchanges.

It's through a scrupulous usage of the XML templates for the interface description that the app is fast overall and efficient in its process of RATP servers requests. On most Android devices, it even seems quicker than its iPhone version. The comparison between the two platforms rarely flows this way, and thus C4M, with this project,  has strengthened its Android confidence.
