Beezik
Client: Beezik
Release year: 2010

Beezik needed a partner able to entirely design from their rough list of key features then deliver it in three months simultaneously for iPhone, Android and Blackberry. C4M's graphical pitch and multi-OS experience won the deal.

Among the challenges, blending the local music library with the Beezik titles transparently for the user was the key to give the app a chance to become the user's default player. Among the tricks this required, you will find the reprogramming of a player identical to the iPod, and several layers of work-arounds to give the illusion of multi-tasking (until the real thing is there).

Some of the weak Android and Blackberry devices required deep optimization to maintain smooth usage through true multi-task behaviour: listening to a song with DRM, while downloading titles and navigating the library to edit a playlist!
