Aside from a slick store locator and practical advice on how to care for your Optic 2000 products, there is also of course, the main feature. Users can set up a reminder calendar in a couple of simple clicks, resulting in live, clearly presented home screen content : At any moment see the percentage of monthly contact lens stock you have remaining and the all important re-order date. It's a sensible solution for those who need to make sure they don't run out of lenses and end up having to re-use old ones - which is unhygenic and bad for the eyes.

Though the app is designed to be primarily functional, the challenge, as is often the case, was to inject some element of fun into the process. Hence the "Extras" section, featuring in this first release, a funky lens simulator - take your photo, add coloured lenses and check out the resulting look.
