C4M delivers two Android radio streaming application to Lagardère Interactive, in time for the release of the Samsung Galaxy, on which Lagardère had several apps preloaded.

Android has no API to play Shoutcast mp3 streams. Therefore C4M dove into streaming protocols and mp3 format. Quite tricky, but plenty of online references for something that's been common on PCs for more than 10 years.

In comparison, the rest of the app, it's interface, the podcasts management, the meta info streams, went like a breeze.

But there was another issue on Android: no tunes reseller program that the app could connect to in order to monetize the app for our customer. Hopes resided in the Amazon mp3 service, but buying a song only works on a full fledged browser.
